Question: Will you be our photographer?
Answer: Yes, we are both lead photographers and will also have a lighting assistant with us. we have never missed a wedding (Nor have we been late). We understand the importance of this date and rest assured, We are very serious about our responsibilities.
Question: Why do you do it?
Answer: There are many different types of photography, but we specialize in weddings. Each wedding is different, each one is special, and no two should EVER be treated the same. For us it is not just a job, but the opportunity to be part of something bigger.
Question: How are you different?
Answer: We are truly excited about being part of your wedding and the perfect couples for us are excited about their wedding and place a high importance on their memories. If your memories are important to you, then we are the right couple for you!
Question: Do you do photograph anything other than weddings?
Answer: We are wedding photographers. We specialize in weddings. For those others that specialize in everything, it is often said that you then, specialize in nothing. We thoroughly enjoy shooting bridal sessions and engagement sessions and have received much acclaim for our use of lighting and dramatic skies. Although we love shooting babies and animals (especially our own), our passion is weddings and couples in love.
Question: Do you travel?
Answer: Absolutely! We have had the pleasure of photographing in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. We would be happy to provide you with a specific quote for your destination wedding.
Question: Are your services subject to sales tax?
Answer: For photography businesses in the state of Texas, services are subject to State sales tax (8.25%).
Personal Questions
Question: How did you start?
Answer: Long story, but when I was young my parents gave me a Canon film camera as a gift (probably birthday). It became a passion when I captured expressions, people and nature. I never was a fan of those posed shots, so in essence, I started with a documentary style, photo journalistic way of capturing moments. It held a certain truth, and that was my first love.
Question: If that was your first love, what about family?
Answer: My wife and I have been married for 24 years now, and we have 3 daughters and just recently became grandparents to little Harper. It takes a certain balance to be husband/father/photographer but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Question: Do you have any loves other than photography?
Answer: We enjoy travel and spending time on Lake Texoma on our boat. We have taken ballroom dance lessons, country dance lessons and music has been a big part of our life.
